Why Heirloom Path
What you gain from working with us.
A studio that moves at the family's pace, produces real printed objects, and keeps professional scope clear from the first conversation.

Six reasons families return
Library Science Expertise
Our founder trained as a librarian with a specialisation in special collections. That means every session is shaped by established archival methodology, not improvised conversation.
- Peer-reviewed reading selections
- Structured facilitation approach
- Archival-grade audio recording
Physical, Lasting Outputs
Unlike digital-only services, everything Heirloom Path produces is intended to exist in physical form — audio files you can copy to a hard drive, printed catalogues, and bound volumes printed on acid-free stock.
- Acid-free printed volumes
- Object catalogues in print
- High-quality audio file delivery
Participant-Led Process
The participant decides what is included, what is recorded, and what is published in print. Nothing goes to press without explicit approval. Our role is to assist, not to interpret or re-shape.
- Full family review before print
- Content approval at every stage
- Stories in the family's own words
Strict Privacy Practices
All materials shared with Heirloom Path are handled under a clear data handling agreement. Nothing is retained beyond the production period without consent, and nothing is shared with third parties.
- Materials returned or deleted on completion
- No third-party data sharing
- Written consent before any publication
Bilingual Capacity
Sessions and productions can accommodate both English and Thai. Family members who prefer to write or speak in Thai are welcome to do so; the studio works with both languages throughout the process.
- English and Thai reading materials
- Thai-language contributions in volumes
- Mixed-language households welcome
Bangkok Studio & Home Visits
The Thong Lor compendium room is purpose-fitted for unhurried group sessions. Object Stories Visits travel to homes across the Bangkok metropolitan area, removing the need for families to transport fragile or meaningful objects.
- Dedicated in-studio reading room
- Home visits across BMA
- Near BTS Thong Lo

What Makes Us Different
Features you won't find elsewhere
The Compendium Room
Our dedicated reading room in Thong Lor is fitted with long reading tables, reference shelves, and a quiet atmosphere designed for the kind of concentrated, reflective discussion that family history deserves. It is not a meeting room borrowed from a hotel.
Session Reading Summaries
Every reading group session is accompanied by a written summary of the key ideas and discussion threads. Participants who miss a session are not left behind, and summaries serve as a small archive of the group's thinking over its six-week run.
Object Photography Option
During Object Stories Visits, participants may choose to have selected objects photographed for inclusion in the printed catalogue. Photographs are taken in natural light and included in the final print at no additional charge.
Multi-Generation Contributions
Annual volumes are designed to hold contributions from family members of any age, including children's drawings and short notes from elderly relatives who prefer to write by hand. The studio scans and integrates handwritten materials into the final layout.
