5. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

6. Intellectual Property

All design work, layout, and editorial production created by Heirloom Path for Annual Volumes and printed catalogues remains the intellectual property of Heirloom Path until full payment is received, at which point the commissioned design is transferred to the participant.

Content submitted by participants (stories, photographs, written contributions, audio recordings) remains the intellectual property of the participant at all times. We do not claim any rights over participant-submitted content and will not use it for any purpose other than the specific service commissioned.

7. Confidentiality

Heirloom Path treats all personal stories, family information, and materials shared during sessions and visits as confidential. We do not share, publish, quote, or distribute participant content without explicit written consent. This obligation continues beyond the completion of any service.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided as described. We do not make representations regarding specific outcomes, family discoveries, or the completeness of any family history produced. Family history work is reflective and exploratory in nature; results vary by participant.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Heirloom Path's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure) including natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions that prevent the delivery of a scheduled service. In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or, at our discretion, a refund.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heirloom Path and its team members from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our services in a manner inconsistent with these Terms.
